Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Arizona. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of our data center projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct electrical construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Review and analyze project specifications, architectural plans, and blueprints to ensure electrical requirements are met.
  • Coordinate and supervise a team of electrical workers and subcontractors to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site, including quality control, safety, and communication with project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other construction specialists to provide valuable input based on your expertise.
  • Implement and enforce site safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Regularly inspect the construction site to ensure work is proceeding according to plan and that all regulations are being followed.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders, keeping them informed about project status and any potential issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Engineering Manager, or in a similar role within ground up construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing complex electrical construction projects, preferably in the data center environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to foresee potential problems and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in electrical safety or related field is a plus.
