Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our design group, you will work closely with project teams to develop and implement electrical system designs for various building programs.

Responsibilities
  • Design and detail electrical systems to meet client requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize electrical system designs and equipment selection.
  • Analyze electrical systems and equipment to create solutions that improve building performance, safety, and efficiency.
  • Support projects by performing design for manufacturing, computer modeling, and testing of electrical systems.
  • Evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of new electrical systems, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, plus experience in facility electrical engineering.
  • Desire to contribute to the evolution of the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with design standards and regulations for electrical systems, such as the National Electrical Code.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineering license.
  • Experience with the design of healthcare facilities.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling programs, such as Revit, and electrical system analysis software, like EasyPower or ETAP.
