Position Overview

As a ground systems engineer, you will support the Space Development Agency (SDA) in the development, deployment, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. Your responsibilities will include providing technical expertise on satellite designs, testing methodologies, and ensuring compliance with system requirements. Key duties involve:

  • Delivering strategic technical guidance to facilitate essential capabilities for the Proliferated Space Warfighter Architecture
  • Formulating satellite system requirements and coordinating with ground systems
  • Overseeing test and evaluation strategies, system verification, and integration processes
  • Evaluating technical readiness and driving necessary updates to ground systems
  • Developing Concepts of Operations for new capabilities
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in satellite and ground systems
  • Robust technical understanding of satellite and ground system interactions
  • Experience in systems engineering practices
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills
  • TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a STEM or related discipline
  • Experience collaborating with DoD and IC clients
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
