Location: United States - Full-time

POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Research Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and executing high-caliber scientific experiments that lead to the development of innovative parenteral dosage forms. Your expertise will be crucial in the creation of novel device components that facilitate both immediate and sustained release of biologics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and implement scientific experimentation strategies for formulation and process advancement.
2. Design and evaluate device subassemblies for cutting-edge drug delivery systems.
3. Collaborate with the analytical department to assess the chemical and physical stability of formulations.
4. Identify and address stability, manufacturability, and performance challenges.
5. Oversee the transition of projects from Research & Development to Manufacturing.
6. Analyze scientific data to draw actionable conclusions and guide future research directions.
7. Communicate findings effectively within the project team and present data during team meetings.
8. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all research activities in accordance with company standards.
9. Stay informed on the latest scientific and technical advancements relevant to the field.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D./M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related disciplines.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology research.
Title will be aligned with the candidate's experience level.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Experience with drug-device combination products is advantageous.
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP regulated environments.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
