Key Responsibilities:- Develop innovative tooling for optical assembly utilizing CAD and mechanical engineering expertise.
- Collaborate with Research and Development teams to establish manufacturing protocols for precision optics assembly.
- Oversee the development, documentation, and training of manufacturing processes to guarantee production excellence.
- Implement optics metrology measurements to ensure process performance reliability.
- Assist in the transfer of New Product Introductions (NPI) and provide training on optical processes.
- Establish critical monitoring metrics in conjunction with the Quality Assurance team.
- Analyze Supplier SCARs and corrective actions to enhance quality control.
- At least 2 years of experience in Optics Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineering.
- Familiarity with process control, precision optics metrology, and cleanroom standards.
- Expertise in precision optomechanics design and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in the design or manufacturing of precision optomechanical products.
- Understanding of quality control methodologies, including Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in CAD software for design and analysis.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Physics.
