The Field Operations Manager guarantees that all tasks align with company protocols, industry standards, and client requirements.

Key Duties:

Field Operations Oversight:


• Direct daily field operations, including work planning, task distribution, and resource management.


• Ensure that all field operations are conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to project schedules and financial plans.


• Supervise field activities to confirm compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.

Leadership and Team Development:


• Guide and mentor field teams, providing leadership, support, and training as necessary.


• Conduct frequent site inspections to assess progress, resolve issues, and ensure team alignment with project objectives.


• Cultivate a positive work atmosphere that encourages collaboration, responsibility, and ongoing improvement.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance:


• Implement safety measures and protocols to reduce risks and ensure a secure working environment for all field staff.


• Organize regular safety briefings and confirm that all team members are adequately trained in safety procedures and equipment usage.


• Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA guidelines and company standards.

Quality Control:


• Regularly evaluate work sites to ensure that quality standards are upheld and any issues are swiftly addressed.


• Collaborate with project managers and quality assurance teams to execute corrective measures and enhance processes as necessary.


• Maintain comprehensive records of field operations, inspections, and quality control activities.

Communication and Coordination:


• Act as the primary contact between field teams and management, ensuring effective and timely communication.


• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to synchronize field operations with project goals.


• Provide updates on field progress, challenges, and opportunities to management, offering suggestions for enhancements.

Resource Management:


• Oversee the allocation and utilization of tools, equipment, and materials on-site to guarantee efficient operations.


• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure prompt delivery and availability of essential resources.


• Monitor and manage expenses related to field operations, ensuring compliance with project budgets.

Problem Resolution:


• Identify and address challenges that arise during field operations, including technical issues, personnel disputes, and unexpected barriers.


• Implement solutions promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions and maintain project timelines.

Qualifications:

Experience:


• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity within field operations, construction, or a related sector.


• Demonstrated success in managing teams and projects in the field.

Skills:


• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.


• Effective problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make swift, informed decisions.

Other Requirements:


• Ability to work in diverse outdoor conditions, including extreme weather.

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Working Environment:


• Primarily operate in the field at various job sites, with exposure to changing weather conditions and construction settings.


• May be required to stand, walk, and move for prolonged periods.


• Frequent travel between job sites and the main office will be necessary.
