We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Amergis. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication disorders. You will work closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' communication, oral-motor integrity, cognitive status, memory, and problem-solving abilities
- Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care in coordination with the physician
- Administer speech therapy programs utilizing specialized therapeutic techniques and equipment
- Instruct patients, caregivers, and other members of the health team regarding their roles in speech therapy
Requirements:
- Meets the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology
- Must hold a degree from an accredited school of Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of assignment
