Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Elderwood. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing speech-language therapy services. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audiometric screenings and make recommendations for further audiology services as needed

• Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans to meet the unique needs of our residents

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support

• Maintain accurate records and reports to track resident progress and program effectiveness

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• State licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist

• Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
