Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our pediatric residents. This role offers a unique chance to enhance your nursing skills while working with children who have significant developmental challenges and disabilities. Our staff plays a crucial role in assisting these children with their daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nursing care under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing within a designated unit.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation of all care provided.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviors during daily assignments.
  • Collaborate with the Charge Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, and Physician in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Maintain clear and precise charting, including any alterations in the child's condition.
  • Engage effectively with team members and interdisciplinary teams to achieve the residents' care goals.
  • Evaluate safety practices and promptly inform the Charge Nurse of any concerns or potential hazards.
  • Order and manage medications from the pharmacy as directed by the physician.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service when interacting with children, families, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Utilize medical equipment proficiently, including but not limited to CPT machines and Bair Hugger devices.
  • Maintain current CPR certification and perform additional duties as assigned.

Full-time, PRN
Compensation:
$32.00 per hour
