The Technician will create an optimal environment for therapy and provide necessary assistance to both therapists and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Remote Therapy Assistance:**
- Support therapists during virtual sessions, ensuring all technical equipment is operational.
- Address any technical difficulties that may occur during sessions to minimize interruptions.
- Offer technical support to both patients and therapists to ensure a smooth therapy process.
2. **Appointment Management:**
- Oversee therapy session scheduling, ensuring punctual appointments and seamless transitions.
- Collaborate with educational staff to arrange therapy sessions without interfering with students' learning.
- Communicate session timings to therapists, students, and relevant educational personnel.
3. **Setup and Transportation:**
- Safely escort students from their classrooms to the designated therapy area, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Prepare virtual therapy tools and establish a suitable environment for sessions, including adequate lighting and minimal distractions.
4. **Record Keeping and Reporting:**
- Maintain precise documentation of therapy sessions, including attendance, duration, and significant observations.
- Produce regular reports that detail session metrics, technical challenges, and enhancements made to improve the virtual therapy experience.
5. **Team Collaboration and Communication:**
- Work collaboratively with virtual therapists and educational staff.
- Relay any specific needs or challenges encountered during virtual therapy sessions to therapists and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in technology-related fields is advantageous.
- Experience with virtual communication tools and video conferencing software.
