We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Pediatric Nursing Specialist (RN or LPN) to deliver exceptional care to our unique population. This role offers a remarkable opportunity to enhance your nursing skills while working with extraordinary children who face profound developmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to provide comprehensive nursing care within an assigned unit.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring meticulous documentation.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviors during daily assignments.
  • Engage in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in partnership with the healthcare team.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough charting, documenting any changes in the child's condition.
  • Foster effective communication with team members and ancillary staff to achieve care objectives.
  • Take responsibility for all patient care delivered during your shift.
  • Assess patient safety conditions and promptly report any concerns to the Team Leader.
  • Manage medication orders and deliveries from the pharmacy as directed by physicians.
  • Interact with children, families, visitors, and staff with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Perform CPR and assist with resuscitation efforts as necessary, maintaining current CPR certification.
  • Skillfully operate medical equipment such as CPT machines and Bair Hugger.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.
