Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist to join our team at the Department of Commerce. As a Supervisory IT Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and managing IT projects and initiatives, as well as providing technical expertise and guidance to team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, including design, development, and implementation of IT systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize IT needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to ensure effective IT service delivery.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management and technical leadership.
  • Proven track record of delivering IT projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with IT service management, IT infrastructure, and IT security.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
