Speech Language Pathologist

At Knute Nelson, we are committed to enriching the lives of everyone we serve. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in our mission by providing high-quality speech therapy services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate clients and develop personalized treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
- Provide quality care that assists clients to meet their goals, including short-term and long-term objectives.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services rendered, utilizing our agency's electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, referral sources, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Recommend and assure continuation of appropriate therapeutic/therapist follow-up programs and activities.
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Minnesota.
- Obtain CPR certification within 6 months from date of hire.
- Valid driver's license and use of an insured personal vehicle.
- Complete and pass a state required background study.
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing to the extent required by the position.
- Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, clients, and visitors.
- Obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine or an approved medical or religious exemption is a requirement of employment for this position.
