Our team of passionate professionals is dedicated to helping children achieve meaningful outcomes through a combination of Speech-Language, Occupational, Psychological, and Behavior therapies.

Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist at Autism Matters, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families. Your role will involve delivering high-quality therapy services to children with ASD and other diagnoses, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and creating personalized treatment plans with meaningful goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and annual re-evaluations to assess occupational performance and analyze results to determine client needs and appropriate treatment goals.
  • Assess, monitor, and document client progress and responses to interventions.
  • Adjust activities and modify environments to promote client success within sessions.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct therapeutic, occupation-based, and client-centered activities within sessions.
  • Prepare, organize, and clean therapy materials and equipment.
  • Implement evidenced-based practice and research into practice.
  • Participate in community outreach events.
  • Uphold company values of being client-focused, ethical, supportive, dedicated, and having integrity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed by Minnesota Department of Health.
  • Certified Occupational Therapist by NBCOT.
  • Experience working with children, preferably children with Autism.
  • 1-2 years' experience as an occupational therapist in pediatrics or field experience in pediatric setting preferred.
