Position Overview:
Eligible candidates may receive a relocation bonus of up to $8,000 based on their location.
Our organization includes several Magnet-designated facilities (with more hospitals on the Magnet journey) and offers nurses opportunities for professional development, cross-training, and career advancement.
As a Nurse, you will take on the responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team, as well as with patients and their families to identify and address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Your role will involve promoting the optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act, while demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Required
Experience Requirements:
Preferred: Two years of recent LPN experience
Licenses/Certification Requirements:
Licensed Practical Nurse Required
BLS (American Heart Association) Required
IV Therapy Required or to be completed within three months of hire/transfer
Physical Requirements: Medium Work - (Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly)

The Medical Unit at St. Catherine Hospital specializes in general medical and surgical patient care and is a 48-bed unit.We provide care for adult patients aged 16 and older who require medical or surgical intervention without overflow from other departments.
