Position Overview:
As a Float Nurse at Swope Health Services, you will join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering essential care to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:
In your role as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and document patient histories.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments effectively.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Monitor and follow up on abnormal lab and imaging results, as well as post-hospitalization care.
- Engage in proactive pre-visit planning and patient education.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess:
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
- A valid nursing license in the State of Missouri and/or Kansas.
- Certification in Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS).
- Strong communication skills and a customer service orientation, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement:
All associates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or obtain an approved exemption based on medical or religious grounds.

Incentives:
This position currently offers a sign-on bonus of $1,000, distributed in two payments of $500 each.
