Sr. Application Coordinator
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Application Coordinator to join our team at Temple University Health System, Inc. This role will be responsible for defining and documenting system scope and objectives, developing system specifications, and executing system test plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops system specifications and performs system design across various applications
- Executes system test plans and anticipates problems
- Provides solutions to complex problems with necessary priorities and presents solutions to clinical partners
- Manages components of medium to large size, complex clinical system projects
- Provides mentoring of system analysts and support of others on clinical system projects
- Develops detailed system selection criteria based on functional and technical requirements
- Builds effective relationships with clinical partners in specification, design, and testing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field/clinical specialty (required)
- 4 years of experience with EMR software application implementation(s) (required)
- 4 years of experience with all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or project life cycle (PLC) (required)
- 4 years of experience in a hospital acute care environment as an employee or consultant (required)
- 1 year of experience with a variety of healthcare clinical systems, e.g., Epic, GE, McKesson, Siemens (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- EC - Epic Certification
