Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist I, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their functional goals and improve their overall quality of life. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of compassion and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients to identify their functional needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including evaluations, assessments, and interventions.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and promote a seamless transition to discharge.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in occupational therapy.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Tennessee.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire.
  • Basic computer literacy skills, including keyboarding and navigation of electronic medical records.
