Job Summary

At Baptist Memorial Health Care, we are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist I to join our team in the CL Occupational Therapy department at BMH - Collierville Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist I, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their functional goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients to establish measurable goals and develop a written plan of care.
  • Provide treatment according to established goals and document interventions in the patient's medical record.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care and reassess the patient's functional status.
  • Develop and implement discharge planning information, including patient education, follow-up, and referral to community resources.
  • Contribute to the development of staff and students, and participate in activities designed to improve healthcare delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum: Entry level
  • Licensure, Registration, Certification: Minimum: OT; BLS Certification within 14 days of hire
  • Special Skills: Minimum: Basic computer literacy skills, such as keyboarding, using a mouse, and navigating sites
