Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective supply of materials to meet customer requirements.

About the Role

This is a contract role with a high possibility of extension. The successful candidate will have experience in implementing commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commodity Strategies: Implement and maintain commodity strategies to ensure cost-effective supply of materials.
  • Standardization: Contribute to the implementation and usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and compliance.
  • Negotiations: Prepare and conduct negotiations for medium purchasing volumes to obtain highest feasible savings.
  • Savings and KPIs: Generate, document, and implement savings, and plan, monitor, and report on relevant KPIs to contribute to business success.
  • Supplier Management: Support supplier management processes, including qualification, selection, evaluation, development, and classification.
  • Customer Interface: Ensure close cooperation with internal customers to ensure customer care and early involvement.
Requirements
  • Dimensions/KPIs: Procurement activities for medium purchasing volumes (PVO) in millions of Euro.
  • Internal/External Contacts: Corporate commodity managers, commodity managers, regional commodity managers, SCM teams, business procurement heads, and cross-functional partners.
