EHS Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team at Life Fitness. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

• Develop and implement EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and mitigate safety and environmental risks.
• Manage and review the AIC Safety Management System to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines.
• Provide technical expertise and support to management and employees on EHS-related matters.
• Lead and participate in various EHS programs, including the Safety Committee, Ergonomic Committee, and Emergency Response Team.
• Investigate and analyze safety incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and oversee environmental programs to ensure compliance and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in industrial safety or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in EHS within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

This role requires occasional lifting of 35 lbs. and a combination of shop floor and office environment. Hearing protection may be required in some areas of the shop floor.
