Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at HEALTH ATLAST WEST LA in West Los Angeles. Our healthcare facility is committed to delivering exceptional care and improving the health and well-being of our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare team members
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
  • Perform trigger point injections
  • Prescribe medications and treatments, as appropriate, in accordance with state regulations and organizational protocols
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification in the state of California
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting
  • Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and diagnosing common acute and chronic conditions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and interdisciplinary team members
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting health equity
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred
