JOB SUMMARY:

The Facilities Operations Supervisor is responsible for the comprehensive management of the organization’s physical assets. This role demands unwavering commitment, operating around the clock throughout the year. The Supervisor leads daily operational activities across various properties, providing expert guidance and training to the facilities maintenance team. Ensures that all work adheres to company standards, protocols, and safety regulations. Acts as the intermediary between Property Managers and the maintenance personnel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee maintenance personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage the upkeep and condition of facilities. Assist in the planning and execution of upgrades to building systems.
  • Provide direction in maintenance practices, equipment diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Coordinate both corrective and preventive maintenance activities. Supervise special service contracts.
  • Ensure staff are trained in maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Monitor budgetary constraints and support capital improvement initiatives.
  • Assess potential property acquisitions. Address tenant concerns and ensure contractor compliance.
  • Guarantee the functionality of building systems and prompt repairs.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies, parts, and tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Specialized training in HVAC/Refrigeration.
  • Valid driver's license and over 10 years of hands-on experience in building systems maintenance.
  • Previous leadership experience in commercial property maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Travel required as necessary - approximately 45% of the time.
  • Utilization of hand tools for about 5% of the time.
  • Work in diverse weather conditions.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items, climb, squat, and operate hand tools.
