Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Chemical Process Technician to join our team at a leading biotech manufacturing company in the Franklinton, NC area. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating process equipment, preparing raw materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate process equipment and prepare raw materials for production.
  • Take sterile production samples and analyze them in the production lab.
  • Complete log sheets and data sheets accurately and notify the supervisor of any errors or irregularities.
  • Work safely and maintain a clean and organized production area in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; prior bio-tech classes a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a background test, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.
  • Must be able to operate process equipment and lift raw materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and a strong safety record.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift safely and complete forklift training within the first 30 days.
  • Production operators must not have facial hair that impedes the use of respiratory equipment.
