Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our customers. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, perform various tasks, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining patient records.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers, and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the pharmacy is clean, neat, and orderly.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedules, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PTCB certification.
  • Knowledge of store inventory control.
