Job Summary

PennState Health is seeking a highly skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients.
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during the scanning process.
  • View images of the area being scanned to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Administer gadolinium contrast dosage intravenously as needed.
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and position them on the examining table.
  • Enter patient data into the computer system, including medical history, anatomical area to be scanned, and orientation.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) and registered or registry eligible in MRI.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
