Orthopedic Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team at OrthoConnecticut. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality musculoskeletal care to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile patient medical data
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and laboratory tests
- Perform therapeutic procedures, including injections, casting, suturing, and wound care
- Record progress notes and assist in the provision of continuity of care
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Successful graduation from an accredited PA college or university program
- Current Connecticut state PA license
- Experience in orthopedic care, preferably in a hospital or surgical center setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
