Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team at OrthoConnecticut. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality musculoskeletal care to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile patient medical data
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and laboratory tests
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including injections, casting, suturing, and wound care
  • Record progress notes and assist in the provision of continuity of care
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Successful graduation from an accredited PA college or university program
  • Current Connecticut state PA license
  • Experience in orthopedic care, preferably in a hospital or surgical center setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
