Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team at OrthoConnecticut. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic medicine and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile patient medical data.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and laboratory tests.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including injections, casting, suturing, and wound care.
  • Record progress notes and assist in the provision of continuity of care.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Successful graduation from an accredited PA college or university program.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut.
  • Experience in orthopedic medicine, preferably in a hospital or surgical center setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
