Mechanical Reliability/Maintenance Specialist

Ashland is seeking a skilled Mechanical Reliability/Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Hopewell, VA location. This is a key role within the Company and the manufacturing function, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure ongoing maintenance and reliability of fixed assets throughout the plant.
- Provide technical expertise to mechanics and contractors on complex jobs or unique/infrequent repairs.
- Support site EH&S requirements and verify compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Develop and maintain written policies and procedures for mechanical reliability programs.
- Monitor PM programs and ensure compliance.
- Partner with maintenance, production, and site leadership on all programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years' experience in Reliability Engineering/Maintenance Engineering.
Preferred Skills:
- Practical knowledge of API and ASME codes and Non-Destructive Testing methodologies.
- Experience in industrial mechanical applications and chemical manufacturing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to solve problems and manage multiple priorities.
