Job Summary:

A Hardware Design Engineer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Mountain View, CA area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Works on silicon development for AI chips, focusing on front-end to back-end processes.
  • Creates and maintains UPF files for complex blocks based on power intent specifications.
  • Guides RTL engineers on UPF creation for simpler blocks.
  • Runs VCLP for chip and SoC UPF creation.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of related experience required.
  • Expertise in UPF file creation at block, SoC, and intermediate levels (3-5 years).
  • Power Intent requirements and specs expertise (3-5 years).
  • Expert user of VCLP (3-5 years).
Additional Skills:
  • Power analysis and optimization with PrimePower, PP-RTL/PowerArtist, Power Replay, and Empower.
