Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator at Little Endeavors Child Development Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum to promote learning and development in young children.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and management to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Participate in daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
  • Responsible for completing nightly chores and assisting with laundry duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all Little Endeavors policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of children and families.

Working with Colleagues:

  • Strive to assume a fair share of work and maintain open communication with morning staff and the director.
  • Approach criticism with a learning attitude and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace.
  • Be friendly, respectful, and flexible when needed, always looking for ways to be helpful around the center.

Administration:

  • Reliable in attendance, with a focus on being on-time and providing ample notice for absences.
  • Careful and conscientious in performance of duties, using positive words and actions towards children, parents, and staff.
  • Be nurturing to all children throughout the center, maintaining a positive attitude and following policies and procedures.

**All DHS requirements must be completed in a timely manner after being hired or annually.**
