Job Title: Data Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Developer to join our team at KamisPro. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in defining and developing data plans and scripts, collaborating with the project team to ensure successful data migration and integration.
  • Responsible for data quality, testing, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting/debugging to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Perform data extraction, aggregation, and quality checking to support trend identification, root cause analysis, and validation of performance measures.
  • Prepare summary reports from analysis findings, including illustrative tables and figures, to inform business decisions.
  • Performance tune SQL database installations at the server, database, or query execution plan levels to optimize data performance.
  • Create thorough, professional-quality project documentation and technical specifications to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Evaluate software change requests, determine business need, and implement technically efficient solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Assess the impact of changes and conduct tests to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity.
  • Participate in and promote a knowledge-sharing environment to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Proactively recommend, schedule, and perform improvements, hotfixes, and upgrades to ensure data quality and performance.
  • Recommend best practices and policies for data migration and database application usage in hosted environments.
  • Troubleshoot problems with builds and tools to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 9 or more years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience with full software development life cycle (Waterfall and Agile), including design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing relational database objects and components, creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration/teamwork skills to coach other developers and team members and review their deliverables.
  • The following technical skills and experience are required: SQL Server, ORACLE, SSIS packages, loading data from flat files to SQL, knowledge on linked server setup.
