Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Service Coordinator to join our team at Victorian Place of St. Clair. As a key member of our dietary department, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services to our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and support dietary staff in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Manage the dietary department within established company policies and state and federal regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Assist in the hiring and training of dietary personnel, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent service to our residents.
  • Coordinate dietary services with the disciplinary team to provide a person-centered approach to care, ensuring that the nutritional needs of our residents are met.
  • Monitor dietary activity to ensure a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age, high school education, and continuing education related to the dietary department.
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide a home-like environment and person-centered care.
  • Adherence to HIPAA regulations, OSHA regulations, and state and federal guidelines.
  • Familiarity with lock-out tag-out procedures and the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Experience in meal planning, budgeting, and dietary operations, as well as resident admission/discharge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in quantity food production.
  • Ability to operate dietary/kitchen appliances in a safe manner.
  • High standards for dietary sanitation, safety measures, and care and maintenance of equipment.
