About the Job

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician I to join our team. As a respected leader in the industry, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of all levels on our fleet of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry technologies and best practices

Requirements
  • 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials)
  • Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
