About the Job

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair problems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Requirements
  • 6 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications preferred
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
