Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics Experience Wanted

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Family Medicine physician with obstetrics experience to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinics – Cottage Grove. This is a .80 FTE position with a flexible schedule.
Practice Details:
The practice is a 6-provider primary care team that includes 4 Family Medicine physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners. Patient encounters average 15-18 patients per day.
Opening:
This is a .80 FTE position with a flexible schedule. Deliveries will be at M Health Fairview St John's or Woodwinds hospitals.
Call Frequency:
1:3, low intensity - phone consultation only with first tier nurse triage. The practice has a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
Income Details:
Resident stipend, Medical School loan forgiveness, sign-on bonus, and relocation are available. The initial 2-year salary guarantee is in place with the ability to exceed on an innovative compensation program rewarding production, quality, and patient experience.

Responsibilities:
The Family Medicine physician with obstetrics experience will be responsible for providing primary care to patients at M Health Fairview Clinics – Cottage Grove. The physician will work as part of a 6-provider primary care team that includes 4 Family Medicine physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners. The physician will be responsible for delivering babies at M Health Fairview St John's or Woodwinds hospitals.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency training program. The candidate must be board certified or board eligible with the ABMS or AOA. The candidate must be licensed or able to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. The candidate must be able to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota. The candidate must meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).
