The Family Medicine with OB Physician position at Allina Health offers a unique opportunity to engage in a collaborative team atmosphere aimed at delivering exceptional patient care. As a Primary Care FM OB, you will work across various specialties to assist patients throughout their healthcare journeys. Key Position Highlights:
Our Primary Care providers collaborate closely with our Mental Health service line and the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing to deliver comprehensive care in a clinic environment.The Cottage Grove clinic is seeking a Family Medicine with OB Physician to become part of a dedicated team of 30 professionals, including specialties such as Sports Medicine, Eye Care, Medical Imaging, OB/GYN, Travel Medicine, and Mental Health Services, while also having access to a full range of specialty care within the Allina Health network.
- 36 patient contact hours per week, with flexibility for lower FTE options
- Outpatient practice catering to patients of all ages, including families
- Clinic hours: Monday-Thursday: 8am-7pm, Friday: 8am-5pm, closed Saturday-Sunday; one evening shift required
- Utilizing Excellian, one of the leading electronic health record (EHR) systems in the country

Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with patients to enhance their health and wellness.
- Practice with consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy, and legal obligations.
- Engage in a multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
- Employ quality improvement methodologies to develop processes that enhance patient care delivery, outcomes, and workflows.
- Participate in peer review and quality assurance initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or equivalent foreign training required
- Board Eligible/Board Certified with ABMS or AOA required
- Active, unrestricted medical license in MN (or eligibility to obtain)
- Ability to secure and maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Meet criteria for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
- ACLS-BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required within 180 days
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation - Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire

Medium Work:
Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently.
