Department Highlights
  • Support multiple facilities within a 150-mile radius
  • Mileage reimbursement provided
  • Additional compensation for float assignments
  • Weekend shift differential available
  • Evening/night shift differential applicable
  • Minimum 24 hours of work required monthly
  • One weekend rotation per month is necessary
  • Prior experience in Long Term Care is essential
  • No contractual obligations required

Position Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is in search of a caring and flexible Registered Nurse to join our team in a travel capacity. This role offers the opportunity to work in various locations, providing essential care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, and the flexibility of no contractual commitment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in nursing practices and adhere to age-specific standards as required in their clinical environment. Responsibilities include:
  • Delivering comprehensive care across all phases of health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Coordinating resident care and conducting assessments.
  • Educating residents and implementing various nursing interventions.
  • Possibly serving as charge nurse and delegating tasks to both licensed and unlicensed personnel.
  • Ensuring safe and effective administration of care and addressing any service concerns.

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a valid RN license in the relevant state. It is essential to maintain required competencies and certifications specific to the department.
