Job Overview

We are in search of a dynamic Primary Care Physician to enhance our Internal Medicine team at our outpatient clinical headquarters. This role is pivotal in serving the city's underserved populations, including the LGBTQ community, BIPOC communities, and individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct medical services to patients, including conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating diagnoses and treatment plans, and prescribing medications.
  • Conduct psychosocial screenings and evaluations for patients.
  • Oversee mid-level practitioners and trainees, assisting in the establishment of diagnosis and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  1. MD or DO degree.
  2. Current medical license in Massachusetts.
  3. Board eligibility or certification in family medicine, internal medicine, or medicine/pediatrics.
  4. Current AAHIVM credentials.
  5. Ability to work effectively with diverse colleagues, patients, and clients across various backgrounds.

Working Conditions:

  1. OSHA Category 1: involves exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
  2. Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to sit, manipulate objects/tools, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
