Responsibilities:
As an Automotive Paint Specialist, your duties will include:
- Executing preparation and painting processes
- Collaborating with the body shop manager and parts department throughout the repair process
- Working with various materials, including steel, aluminum, and plastic
- Maintaining communication with colleagues across the collision center
- Adhering to repair procedures and timelines based on estimates
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor
- Demonstrating flexibility in scheduling during peak times
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in automotive painting
- Relevant certifications, such as Paint Certification, I-Car, or Manufacturer credentials
- The ability to make informed decisions regarding repair processes and parts
- Strong knowledge of necessary tools and equipment for safe and effective job performance
- A positive and energetic attitude, with the ability to work well in a team environment
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
