Project Coordinator

As a Project Engineer, Associate at M.C. Dean, Inc., you will provide technical and administrative assistance to project leads to ensure the success of our projects. Your role will involve understanding the full scope of work for each project assignment, developing and maintaining project controls, and developing solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project controls, including submittals, procurement plans, RFIs, and project schedules.
- Assist in estimating through performing material take-offs and quote requests.
- Track project quantities and prepare specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment.
- Prepare invoices and submit O&M manuals.
- Participate in KPR (Key Project Review) and manage coordination and detailing logs and schedules.
- Manage schedule updates and productivity reports.
- Identify value-added solutions and cost-saving methods.
- 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferably from an ABET accredited program).
- Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
- Finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms.
- Listening and speaking skills to communicate effectively.
- Reading and understanding skills to comprehend written information.
- Problem-solving skills to apply general rules to specific problems.
