Are you ready to unleash your technical expertise and contribute to the development of cutting-edge products and services? As an FPGA Firmware Developer III at SNC, you will play a critical role in researching, designing, developing, testing, certifying, deploying, and improving advanced mission payloads, electronic systems, and orbital and space exploration systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle
  • Develop and implement firmware solutions for complex electronic systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of products
  • Conduct thorough testing and certification of products to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in the field of FPGA development
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • 6 or more years of experience in Electrical, Computer, or Firmware Engineering
  • Strong understanding of digital circuit concepts and FPGA HDL development
  • Experience with simulation and analysis tools, such as VHDL and Verilog
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Experience with model-based definition, electrical component selection, and manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of Electro Magnetic Effects (EME), Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC), and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)
  • Previous experience in digital or analog circuit design, schematic capture, and source code management systems
