Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural/Commercial Loan Officer to join our team at MRINetwork Jobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business relationships, producing agricultural loans, and managing a portfolio of business relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects to establish and service a sound portfolio.
  • Analyze client needs and recommend solutions that match those needs, consistent with the Bank's credit culture.
  • Analyze and screen loan requests, negotiate terms and conditions, and structure loan financing based on risk considerations.
  • Foster partnerships and working relationships with all lines of business within the Bank.
  • Evaluate and manage client relationships and transactions for financial and credit risk.
  • Comply with government regulations and bank policy to ensure conformity with required laws and terms.
  • Stay aware of competitive products, practices, rates, and changes in the local market.
  • Represent the Bank in the local community through community, charitable, business, and social activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4-6 years of progressively responsible commercial lending experience with advanced knowledge of credit underwriting, loan structuring, and commercial lending practices.
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills with proven success in prospecting and building relationships.
  • Business and financial analysis and modeling skills with understanding of financial accounting, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Working knowledge of lending practices, policies, procedures, disclosures, and terminology related to banking laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated public relations capability and active interest in community affairs.
  • Proficient PC experience using MS Office products and working knowledge of automated financial systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
