Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative team at Community Memorial Healthcare. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room, collaborating with other hospital disciplines to coordinate patient care planning.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing professional perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Coordinating patient care planning with other hospital disciplines, including anesthesiology, surgery, and radiology
  • Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to any changes or concerns
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the surgical team
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current CA Registered Nurse License
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Minimum 6 months recent full-time operating room experience in an acute care hospital or the equivalent
