Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Omni Inclusive. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and building systems
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment continues to run smoothly
  • Troubleshoot and fix faulty electrical switches, repair and maintain HVAC roof top units, lighting, and unclog drains
  • Schedule, direct, and oversee outside contractors performing repairs or upgrades
  • Obtain supplies and repair parts from distributors or store rooms
  • Use common hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment and electronic testing devices
  • Keep records of work performed and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Good reading comprehension and ability to interpret service manuals and other written instructions
  • Ability to use a computer to send and receive email, open and update work orders, enter time sheet information, and use computer-controlled HVAC systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent task switching and adaptability
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, work in uncomfortable environments, and stand for long periods
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in uncomfortable temperatures. You must be able to follow safety precautions and use personal protective equipment.
