We are currently in search of a meticulous and efficient Packaging Technician to enhance our operations.

As a Packaging Technician, your primary responsibility will be to package and prepare our products for distribution. You will collaborate closely with the Production Manager and the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all products are handled and packaged in accordance with our stringent quality standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various packaging machinery, including conveyors, scales, and sealing devices.
  • Conduct quality inspections of products and eliminate any defective items.
  • Label and package products following customer specifications.
  • Ensure precise counting and weighing of packaged items.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized packaging area.
  • Comply with food safety and quality regulations.
  • Assist in managing inventory and stock rotation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in packaging or production line roles is preferred.
  • Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Capability to operate packaging machinery.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work various shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated or cool environment.
