Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Services Inspector to join our team in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction work and perform field tests to ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Assist Senior Construction Services Inspectors in the performance of their duties and review work in progress.
  • Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
  • Perform daily field inspections and maintain accurate inspection records.
  • Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Track quality assurance progress and ensure that construction activities meet company standards.
  • Conduct inspections, observations, and run materials tests to verify construction work meets specifications.
  • Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) to ensure clear understanding of project requirements.
  • Receive general supervision from Senior Inspectors and assist in the performance of their duties.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
