Job Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of sales, including customer contact, solution recommendation, quoting, selling, troubleshooting, and order fulfillment. This role requires coordination between departments, vendors, and customers to meet company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and achieve annual sales budgets for assigned accounts
  • Identify and capture growth opportunities to support growth strategies
  • Update rolling forecasts monthly and report on variances
  • Lead the proposal process for assigned accounts
  • Process quotes, orders, pricing, availability, shipping costs, and other related tasks
  • Work with the sales team to obtain competitive pricing, cost, and other information required for proposal development
  • Recommend and establish target-selling prices and obtain necessary approvals
  • Compile supporting data, pricing strategy, and contractual framework for multi-year proposals
  • Conduct monthly follow-up and reporting on the status of key quotations and proposals
  • Communicate negotiation outcomes and ensure contract copies are documented, approved, and distributed
  • Assess customer information to anticipate changes affecting sales revenues and budget plans
  • Monitor and maintain profitability with key accounts consistent with overall division strategy

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the aerospace industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Knowledge of Quantum software and OEM business environment
  • Inventory practices and general aerospace requirements knowledge
  • Selling skills, including negotiating and relationship building with a strong customer focus
  • Computer savvy and ability to learn company proprietary software programs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Strong customer service attitude and demeanor
  • Organized and efficient time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work interdepartmentally
