Job Overview

As a **Heavy Equipment Technician** at **Consolidated Resource LLC**, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our fleet. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and perform preventive maintenance on vehicles to uphold service operations.
  • Utilize your skills to troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify electrical and mechanical issues in diesel trucks and trailers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of heavy machinery, including excavators, backhoes, dozers, and forklifts.
  • Engage in small engine repairs, including tampers and pumps.
  • Apply your experience with hydraulic systems to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Respond to operator feedback and conduct inspections to repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions, replacing parts as necessary.
  • Ensure shop equipment remains operational by adhering to operating instructions and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Provide timely emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance during machine service.
  • Adhere to OSHA Safety and Health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned, contributing to team success.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company proprietary information.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of **3 years' experience** as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
  • Dependability and consistency in attendance.
  • Flexibility to work off-hours, including overtime and weekends, in various weather conditions.
  • Capability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Physical ability to lift up to **50 lbs**, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • A commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of safety standards for vehicles and equipment.
  • Familiarity with the Oil and Gas Industry is advantageous.
Licensure and Certification:
  • A valid **Commercial Driver's License (CDL)** is preferred.
