Position Overview:
As a Heavy Equipment Operator specializing in Scraper operations, you will be an integral part of our Field Operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a Scraper Tractor and Pans across various job sites, ensuring the efficient movement of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Scraper Tractors and Pans to transport materials effectively.
- May be required to operate additional machinery as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
- Participate in ground-level tasks as needed.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain high-quality work standards consistently.
- Foster positive relationships with Technicians, Foremen, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and colleagues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing tasks.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- Represent GCAS Contracting Inc. professionally and honestly.
Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds.
- Familiarity with OSHA Standards.
- Ability to obtain necessary badges preferred.
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Availability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to regular attendance.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
